Welcome to Season 5, Knights. Got some new stuff going on this season:
1. Game 1: Jackalope Dark Knights at Mastadons, Friday, May 17th @ 9:40 PM, Rink B, Blues. “Short Staff Edition”. I know that Siz, JT, Herbert, and myself will be missing from this game. As I’m constantly reminded every time I’m around one of you, we played our best game of the year last season in my absence (against the Fat Bottoms) so beating up the new kids without me should be no problem either. Dark Knights v Mastadons – Playoff Game 1 – April 18th 7:10PM

Welcome to Playoff Week, boys (and Mel)! Our last game until June is this Thursday — unless, of course, you guys want to do something about that.
1. Playoff Game 1: Mastadons (2-22-0)(4th Adams) at Jackalope Dark Knights (13-7-1)(1st Adams) Thursday, April 18th at 7:10 PM, Rink A, Blacks. We’ll talk strategy on Thursday but be thinking about the tendencies you observed last night. I’d like some feedback from anyone who observed anything interesting.
2. Game 24: Jackalope Dark Knights 4, Mastadons 0.

Yet another important game this week. Depending on how Fat Bottoms did yesterday, we are likely down 1 point with 2 to play. Music City Flyers and Mastadons to close it out.
1. Game 23: Music City Flyers (10-9-2)(3rd Adams) at Jackalope Dark Knights (14-7-1)(2nd Adams) Thursday, April 11th at 7:10 PM, Rink A, Blacks. We’ve secured at least 2nd place in the division but we need to beat these guys to have a shot at first place.
2. Game 22: Jackalope Dark Knights 5, Stingrays 4, OT. Special shout out to Ben in the shootout. Also to Steve, Jim, and James who scored goals in the extra frame.
3. Game 22 Areas of Concentration — Defensive responsibility – I thought we did ok on this, despite the score.
4. Jerseys: In production. We will have them by the end of May.
5. Summer Fees Due April 15th: IF YOU HAVEN’T SIGNED UP ON THE POLL FOR PLAYING THIS SUMMER, PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY. $185 for summer league fees. Due date is the last game of the season.

PS. I have an extra pair of shoulder pads from last game and Cato has an extra helmet. Claim them now or forever hold your peace.
